I recently received an email I was a bit cautious about, as scammers and spam are everywhere (my inbox is buried), but it didn’t raise any red flags. Just to be sure, I logged into my account and used the internal email system to verify that the original email was legitimate.
And it was!
The owner of IndieReader, the company I used to get Blind Spot: The Covenant’s Forfeit on Edelweiss, received a request from the vice chair of an American Library Association committee for a digital copy of my book to review because Blind Spot was being considered for an award!!!
As I understand it, this is not a nomination, and I’m not shortlisted for anything; this is just the preliminary level…but…this is still incredible!!! It never occurred to me to submit Blind Spot.
I totally get why dogs spin in circles when they’re excited. I don’t know which way to look or what to say! This is so thrilling, and I am so grateful!
